A strategic plan was needed to consolidate IT departments from four ministries into one, envisioning a new e-service where people could access government information directly rather than having to visit branches.

At First

Most ministries had their own hardware, softwares and legacy data created over decades, sometimes incompatible. IT branches were mandated to combine information technology, systems architecture, and client access. A plan was needed.

Our Solution

Information technology branches in each ministry held their own planning sessions, followed by a larger combined strategic plan for all four together with a detailed implementation plan.

The Result

Technology, architecture, and knowledge management systems were all in place and legacy data was consolidated. Help desks were up and running for government staff and external users. A voice-over-Internet protocol was planned.
